Taste of Mogul is not just a restaurant it's a new cultural experience with an even richer dining experience. Why? because Indians differ from one another by religion, language and caste. Each has its own unique cuisine and that means a culinary diversity unequalled anywhere in the world- and it’s right here in Twickenham, Middlesex.
At Taste of Mogul, we believe in flavour not fire, that is why we have created a unique fusion of tastes and styles from:
The north, where the food is complex and aromatic but not spicy hot. Ingredients tend to be meat, nuts, fruit, saffron, yoghurts onions, garlic and ginger;
The west, where vegetarian food dominates but they also eat fish and other seafood, chicken and coconut. Chilli and garlic are used and sweet sour dishes are popular;
The south of India, which is the spiciest and hottest of all Indian cuisine. Rich and aromatic with exotic spices, lentils, coconut milk and of course ghee. Tamarind, red chillies, curry leave, mustard seed are essential ingredients in this area.
The East and North East, Where fish, potato, rice and green vegetables dominate, The common spices are cumin seed, nigella seed, fennel, fenugreek and mustard seed.
